Well I heard there was a secret chord, That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do ya?

Well it goes like this, The fourth, the fifth - The minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah

OK. Here is the ldapguru forum link again so it will be here and easy to find.

If a moderator could pin this thread it would be nice too.

eventid

One of the best resources I have found for tracking down events in the Event Viewer is a site called eventid.net. Here is the link.

Self-Service Linux®: Mastering the Art of Problem Determination

The above book, of which some reviews can be found here is very a very good introduction to learning how to troubleshoot computer problems. While it specifically focuses on Linux problems the first chapter or so is full of very good generic troubleshooting advice, i.e. the art of troubleshooting just about any computer problem you come across. As such I think this is a worthwhile book for any newbie for the concepts are universal in nature.

If you don't want to purchase the book it is available to be read through the Safari Online Book service available through the Informit.com and Oreilly.com web sites.
