70-271 Tomorrow

Finally, after one and a half months, 70-271 is booked for tomorrow.

Does anyone have any idea about how Microsoft scoring system works, whether u gain more if u finish the test early, or just the core 70% marks count for passing the exam in 3 hrs.

1) You (not u) do not gain any more points by finishing the exam early. This is a knowledge-based test, not a race. ;)

2) There is no percentage score. A passing score is 700 points on an undisclosed scale that only Microsoft knows. Supposely, the scale is from 0 to 1000; however, partial credit may or may not be given, and unscored beta questions may or may not be introduced. Thus, there is no percentage score that can be derived.

Anything else would likely be either a) sheer guesswork or b) a potential violation of the Non-Disclosure Agreement that each of us signed before we took our Microsoft exams.

No one knows how any exams are scored and wether you get more points for a question with two answers than a question with one answer. Also I have heard of people failing exams even though they have the minimum pass score wether this is true or not is another matter.

Aslong as you have studied and are confident then you should be ok.

Good luck.
