Books and Resources

I know about a thousand years ago, a bunch of us wrote FAQ pages for the various forums where we collected links to the books and sites that can be used for study. I notice the same questions keep getting asked over and over, through nobody's fault, but we need a better system for answering those questions. I'm pinning this thread as a quick and dirty way to answer those questions. I"m putting a link in to start the process. Anyone, feel free to add links and resources that you think will help folks study for and pass the A+ exam. Cheers.

A+ Certification All-In-One Exam Guide by Mike Meyers

PS: The book title is clickable and will take you to Amazon.co.uk so you can view the specs on the book.

Another couple of resources.

You should register with either of these companys first. When booking the exam you then can find an accredited testing center near you.

I found some lab manuals written by Mike Meyers that I think would be useful:

Thanks for all the great resources, , however, does
anyone know of any books [real, paper books] for the 2006 objective exams. I think my printer would meltdown if I downloaded all the pdfs[my wallet would meltdown for sure]. I'm a noob so sorry if this is in the wrong place!

This is my issue as well, just starting to look into getting books etc, but don't want to stump up the cash if it's going to be wasted.
