71-680: Windows 7 Config (beta) failed...

71-680: Windows 7 Config (beta) failed...

Well, got my results online this morning and found out that I failed I little annoyed that I failed, but not too annoyed, after all not alot of study materials plus it was free...

It's funny, you can never tell what's going to happen. I passed the Sharepoint exam that I thought that I'd fail, but failed this exam that I thought that I would have passed

Oh well, still waiting to hear back from the Server+ 2009 beta, the Fibre Optic termination (haven't had the results of my exam back yet), and soon the Linux+ 2009 beta...

-Ken

I know what you mean Ken.

The exams you think you have performed terribly in you pass, and the ones that you think you have done great in you fail.

Better luck next time mate.

Tough luck m8 tho' good news too

As a matter of interest, if you had passed the beta exam would that have counted as tho' it was a full exam as opposed to a beta or would you just have got a beta credit ?

Theres no such thing as 'beta credit'. A pass is a pass.

If anything passing a beta is better as it proves you could not have braindumped.

Still didn't stop one interviewer calling me a liar because I got my cert before the launch date.

That's true

The only place where you'll see that it's a beta exam you've passed is at the test centre website. If you check out the MS transcript, you'll only see the end part of the exam code (eg 620, instead of 71-620).

Angry

Just check the status of my 71-680 test results, I got a "F" too. But I don't expect I will pass, so I can focus on the real exam when it comes out.

Sorry to hear you failed man, but well done on the fiber optic exam!

Did you get a pass chart in the mail with the criteria and percentage like we usually get printed out immediately after taking the exam?

I got my results email (pass) but Microsoft still have my parents address as my residence, I'll have to get them to forward on any Mail Microsoft sends me.

Tez.
