Cisco Course Completion Certificates

Just wondered if Cisco offer any sort of recognition for sitting their official courses to add value to the certification (rather than just bootcamping it or going straight for the exam)?

Regards,

Ben

Provided you sit the course thru a Cisco Academy, you'll receive a:

Quote:
Certificate of Course Completion
Each student who successfully completes a Networking Academy course will receive a personalized certificate listing the competencies gained through the curriculum.
See here.

But to be honest, it's not worth as much as a CCNA or the CCENT. As to value, all it'll state are the objectives that you sat thru... So how valuable it is, is down to the individual.

Thanks Ken.

I presume, as like Microsoft, the only thing that appears on the transcripts are the exams taken?

Went to another training provider last week and they showed me some copies of the course completion certificates. Cisco send them back to the provider who then sign them off.

Do Cisco have a centrally-co-ordinated record of who's been on their official courses? If I lost the one of C.C.C's, could they be replaced?

regards,

Ben
