Congrats - I've been looking into BCS membership myself. I think I'd fit the criteria for CITP but may go for MBCS initially

How long did the process take, and did you have to through an interview?

 

You can read a bit about it here. I did do a little polite chase up so it's taken 4 weeks altogther.

You have to meet SFIA Level 5 or greater and they send you a sheet about levels 4, 5 and 6 which I've attached so you can see what is required. You then have to have a supporter who can validate your work. Both you and your supporter *may* be contacted - in my case, neither.
