So I've realized that I think I'm weak with everything Novell related so I've listed out what I know:

Netware 3.x: Uses Bindery, Only supports IPX/SPX
Netware 4.x: NDS, Supports IPX/SPX and TCP-IP Encapsulation
Netware 5.x and 6.x: NDS, Supports IPX/SPX and Native TCP-IP

Microsoft Client for Netware only supports IPX/SPX, but Client 32 (by Novell) can be used to support TCP/IP if you have a 4.x or higher netware server.

If a user wants to access netware resources from a windows server than Gateway for Netware can be setup, but that only allows one account so the permissions aren't very customizable if you have a large network with different needs.

Does anyone else have any comments or resources to add to this for Network+ related material?

    Thanks.
