Me: You need to buy a couple of servers.
Customer: Whats wrong with the servers I have?
Me: Well, you dont have *any* servers just now.
Customer: WTF! I thought I did!
It's been often said today that it would be nigh impossible to find anyone anywhere with a negative word to say against Tommy. He was widely held as a warming inspiration in any company, on or off the pitch, work or at home, and an ambassador for Scottish football, Scottish sport, and Scotland itself.
He believed in his faith, but never preached at anyone. Some of the most touching tributes today were the actions of the many Rangers fans who came straight to Parkhead (Celtic's ground) as they got home from Manchester, to pay their tributes alongside the Celtic fans.
A man who could bridge the greatest divide. He never wallowed in his own achievements, just shared his experience with those he nurtured and developed.
Forgive my ignorance, but who or what is cargile that I see on the shirts and are the blue and white scarfs the ranger fans you spoke of gav? And I have to say that picture 21 and the one of his family are my favorites. But does anyone know what that is around their waist on picture 21? It sorta looks like a horseshoe.

Its not 'Cargile' Mitzs - its 'Carling' - a British-brewed lager. They're the sponsors of both Rangers and Celtic. Yes, the blue and white scarves are Rangers scarves - that's their team colours.
As for the 'horseshoe', they're actually Sporrans - worn because the Kilt doesn't have any pockets (kinda like a five hundred year old fanny pack)
Tommy Burns was an extremely good player, excellent manager and well-liked by almost everyone - no mean feat in the often sectarian and highly charged world of Scottish football.
Alright, so we we're going to plug up that hole?
Yeah, we can get it done tomorrow if price is no object...
yeeeuuuiiiyyyueee...
We'll get estimates.
Get estimates, yeah huh huh huh

Thanks for clearing that up for me Zeb. I wonder if I could get gav to send me one of those sporrans specially if he would hand delivery it wearing his own colors... You know the man had to be well loved for all to show their respect like that. I hope his family can take some sort of comfort from that.

Tommy was actually from the same area I was brought in, his funeral is at my old parish St. Mary's in the east end of Glasgow. I remember being at school there and a bunch of us running round to pester him for an autograph while he was in mass, being the man he is he duly obliged.
