I have consulted the guru that is google on your behalf and he said open up your device manager->universal serial bus controller and look for something along the lines of

"Standard Enhanced PCI to USB host controller"

If you cant find Enhanced then its not USB 2

Hi Brizz,

well if youre machine is Vista capable then im sure its 2.0. Anyway, usually it will say "Enhanced" under Universal serial bus in device manager.

a quick way would be to pop in a usb 2 device and if you dont get a 'this device can perform faster" it should be a usb 2 port
