290 In a couple of weeks
hi all
not been on here for a while but im glad to say im back. Gonna do the 290 in a couple of weeks (not got exact date yet but should be mid May) Anyway as usual i have some questions How many questions are there? People have quoted different totals Whats the pass mark? Ive heard 70 and 80% Whats the best study aid? I have MS Self Paced, Test Out MCSE, Transcender as well as MS's official academic course (MOAC) books. All info appreciated Cheers

The pass mark is 700 points, but nobody knows for sure what the minimum or the maximum are... nor does anyone know whether questions are weighted, whether you get partial credit, whether questions are unscored, etc. You can't rely on a percentage score. Just study the concepts until you understand them all.
 Dunno how many questions there are. That number changes from month to month as Microsoft adds unscored "beta" questions to the pool. I recommend MSPress and Sybex books for Microsoft exams. My opinion for practice exam study tools would be highly suspect due to bias!
