Failed 291 :(

Failed it today with 606 .....

What worries me is that the sectional results dont help me to find my real weak spots since where I thought I was strong like DNS, IP Addressing and Maintain a Network Infrastructure I scored low.... on Network Security and RRA where I struggled and felt unprepared is where I have the longest bars....

I guess I have to review everything together again....

Maybe you were so worried about your weakness that you overlooked some of the other topics?
Best of luck for your next attempt.

On the contrary, you have all the information you need to know. If you got a low score on DNS, IP Addressing, and Maintain a Network Infrastructure... even though you thought you were strong, THOSE are indeed your weak spots. Even worse, since you think you've got those topics "down pat".

That said, you aren't far from a passing score. Just a bit of revision to find out where you went wrong, and you'll be good to go!

Best of luck next time

Me: You need to buy a couple of servers.
Customer: Whats wrong with the servers I have?
Me: Well, you dont have *any* servers just now.
Customer: WTF! I thought I did!

606 is not a million miles away, what revision material are you using?
Might be worth supplementing them, as sometimes a different viewpoint makes things click.

Good luck on your next go, are you using the second shot thing from MS?

Im using the 291 Training Kit 2nd Edition
MCSE Core Requirements in a nutshell by Stanek
and Windows Server 2003 Inside Out...
plus some whitepapers...

I may consider using Transcender for a practice test before taking it again...

Im using the second shot....

It means they may have made a mistake in their wording, as far as i can tell the 70-291 is not part of the Microsoft Dynamics initiative.

This Microsoft Dynamics is for business solutions software such as CRM and financial packages etc.

More here..

If you are in any doubt you could always email them and ask

This is what they said:

"After reviewing your transcript, our records indicate that you have
passed 70-620 and 70-290 and that is the reason the mail was sent to you
with your MCP ID. It states that you could also achieve a Microsoft
Dynamics Certification.
