Hi, welcome to CF

I took it about 2 years ago. The course will hopefully teach you all you need to know. For the course I would say keep an open mind, dont be afraid of new environments and operating systems, and take good notes.

Have fun!

Hi and welcome to CF!

It depends hugely on how much experience you have as to how easy you find Network+.

I'd been involved in networks for years before I took the exam, so I mainly had to brush up on areas I'd not seen, such as Novell and the like.

Harry.

Hi Guys! I've never used networks before. (Other than the internet of course) Some things I'm finding difficult, mainly remembering the different anacronysms and what they mean and how they connect to other parts! I'va had some experience with computers, such as tinkering and building them and a bit of programming in school (some time ago!) so this is all new! I'm using XP Home on my computer and have been advised to install Virtual PC and server 2003 but the Virtual PC won't work with my OS. Does anyone know of a different program I could use?
