Hi guys

just been offered my 1st it job. and just wanted to say thanks to every one that is given me advice over the last few months.

the job has just come at the right time as i was beening made redundant from my current job.

the job is a 1st line support person supporting users of a well know money transfer company that can be found in lots of newsagent with yellow and black signs.

Well done bud, just wait till you want to move on, suddenly your cv will not feel like its invisible, was the first thing i notice when i started applying for jobs after i got my break in IT.

 

I'm not a happy Bunny.

after being offered the job i have been chased the agent for my offer letter and was told that it would be on the way by email, i called every day this week and was told that she had spoken with them and everything was OK and would be starting on Tue.
got a call at 4:30 saying that they were pulling the offer due to cost savings.
this is after asking me to finish a week earlier from my current job (I'm being made redundant on the 28Th)
my current employer was OK with this and did not dock my money.(thank god)

being told at 4:30 just before a bank hol weekend really take the biscuit,and made my weekend because i now have no job at all

 

Have you anything in writing?? I'd consider contacting my lawyer...
