2 x ADSL lines (lucky me - but what do u do with them?)

Well actually one's cable, but anyway...

I already have cable broadband in my house with a wireless router.
Now my company is installing a business landline in my house (home office), also with broadband.

I'd cancel my current broadband, but its part of quite a good package so it's worth keeping if i can use it!

So what the best way to setup these two connections? I have a wireless router, the new coneection will come with a wireless router. I will mainly be using a laptop with built in wifi. I've also got a wifi PC card somewhere.

So how do i go about this? Is it possible to use both at the same time and double my bandwidth?
Any ideas?

you could always get yourself a load balancing router, you can connect both modems to it and it will spread your internet usage across the 2 connections.

*wonders if his company will pay for a broadband connection in his home*

Potentially, I can get two internet connections in my flat...I am currently on Virgin media, but if I wanted (and I jsut might if Virgin is still as crap as it is!) I will enable my phone line and get ADSL put on that...would be nice to have two connections...I could have one as a server for uploads and the other just downloading...now did someone say pr0n?

Inspirational... guess it'll be two almighty pr0n servers then!

Might have a look into this load balancing business but i guess i'll just cancel the cable and save a couple of quid.

Cheers guys, you've been... er, helpful?

Now there's a though for getting some private revenue, we have spare broadband links and a couple of older servers here at work also....

Seriously - that is known in IT circles as a "CLE" - Career Limiting Exercise.

You may want to ask your company to pickup the cost of your existing DSL (Cable) cost, of course that's not as much fun as having a load balanced router at home
