Just sat the Adobe Certified Associate Beta Exam for CS3 Flash
Hi Guys,
Just sat the ACA Beta exam for Flash, 113 questions and you have to complete it in 150*
Without violating the NDA:
There are straight forward questions and simulations, you are not only tested on the software, but the whole project as a whole.
For the objectives of the exam, see
here .
So for me, my score was 681. I don't know the pass score for these exams, I may find that score is a pass (or not).
-Ken
*Please note that this is for the beta exam, live exams may be different.

The 3 beta exams are going thru their process first quarter this year with the view of the live exams being released mid-year-ish hopefully.
The only place you'll be able to take the ACA exams are at Certiport Testing centres.

Are all beta exams the same?
If you pass the beta then you have the cert?
When I took compTIAs PDI+ beta exam it said if I pass then I am certified and there is no reason to take the exam when it becomes live.
I am still waiting for the results aparently the first quarter of 08 so it shouldn't be long till I find out wether I have passed or not.
Good luck with that Ken

Thanks guys, will let you know if I pass or fail
Yep, the beta exams are practically all the same, if you pass the beta exam (unless they recall the exam) you get the credential

You can get more information on the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) exams from
Certiport UK .
If you're in the Yorkshire/Humberside region of the UK, there is a big pilot for the exams going on, and you might be able to get training and exams free! See

Please note the finished exams will be much shorter: about 45 questions in 50 minutes.
