Passed Perl

I really enjoyed studying Perl and thought I was pretty good at it. The exam rely shook me though and I'm NEVER normally bothered by exams. So this is a warning, STUDY HARD AND REVISE THOROUGHLY. On the other exams Ive finished them, on average, in about 30mins of the 90mins allowed. This time I had 7mins left on the clock.

I got through with 45/50 (90%) but I think luck played quite a part in this exam.

Congrats on the pass.

You now know why some Perl programs look more like line-noise than a computer program!

Harry.

Just curious (we always ask this question when the cert is the A+, N+, or something Microsoft), what did you use to study Perl?

Well, The course manual was crap, so mostly I used: Sams Teach Yourself Perl in 24 Hours; Oreilly Programing Perl; Oreilly Programming the Perl DBI; Manning, Object Oriented Perl; Perl and CGI Visual Quick Start; And lots of forums such as this one and PerlMonks.

Hello and 'grats!

What was the exam like? Did you have to work out the solutions yourself, or was it test-like where you just pick the answers?
