SBS 2003 and USB APC UPS, which software is best

Hi all,

I have recently installed a APC UPS on a HP server, connected via USB, the drivers are installed.

However I have not installed the APC software as from reading the web it can cause the server to hang etc.

Any other thoughts on what software to use please guys

Mark

I use business suite and works very very well, and you can add additional scripts to gracefully shut down other servers that are on the same ups. I tend to like 3000XL. Using third party ups software ? I wouldn't trust it.

If you download the latest software you should be fine, any problems try the UPS on the serial port.
