Day to day tasks of an exchange admin?

We have installed a new exchange 2007 server and I was just wondering if anyone could help me a little with what an exchange administrator does for the everyday tasks. I'm very new to exchange so I really have no clue.

Administer exchange, troubleshoot problems, add/delete users, manage quotas, figure out why e-mail's not being delivered, pull stuff out of the spam trap.

In truth, I'd go mad from the boredom.

Step 1. Is it on?
Step 2. Can I get my emails?
****Server Good!****

Exchange admins do all sorts of things. Colleague at my old place used to routinely check the storage sizes of the mailbox stores, and balance the accounts out so we had roughly equal stores on each. Couldnt tell you exactly what, beyond steps 1 and 2 there.

Umm, thanks, I think. That's just like giving a blind man a stick and saying good luck mate.

I figured out today that this is number 1 on the list. Check database sizes.

This happened to us on the first night. We moved 14 GB of mail to the Exchange database in a few hours and it completly filled the system partition. We have moved the logfile store to a much larger partition now.
