    That IS rather a cool prospect ... <eeeeevvilll>

    However, a more realistic prospect I visited this summer is Scotland's Secret Bunker near Crail, Scotland (yeah, I know - not exactly "secret" nowadays :)). This was one of a network of underground, blast-proof control centres located across the UK, built in post-war times, and yet only recently decomissioned (and opened to the public).

    It was to be a control centre / shelter for the top brass in the event of a Cold War escalation. Man, let me tell you - it is chilling to be in there ...... :eek:
