Just passed 70-228, score of 838, nice.
Finished the exam in under an hour!
I'm now half a MCDBA, onto 70-290...

Well done and congratulations!
Yes the design exam is/was harder than the admin exam.
You are doing well to get through these SQL exams without doing the core exams first....hopefully things will be straightforward or easier for the next core exams.
