Ah cool, Very nice vids Zimbo just finished watching them. I never actually set a RIS server up when I was studying for my 70-270. But I just set one up thanks to your videos.
Just got to mention, it's not called Remote Installation Services anymore. It's called Windows Deployment Services, but it goes through the same wizard etc. I thought it was wierd when I couldn't find RIS to install.

Well to be honest I'm ok with all the basics of getting a server up and running (AD, DNS, DHCP etc.) I'm going to build on this knowledge when I start the 70-291.
But I've watched a few of the lab partners videos and there all good to watch, so I don't mind what you put out next, they will all add to my knowledge. Maybe some others will tell you what they would like to see.
I can't play them Zim, says I need a VMMC codec, usually Windows Media Player 11 can play most things
”
Try using Winamp or download VLC media player (free) but you shouldnt have a problem cause i recorded it using VMware and no codecs were used to compress anything. I think it could well be WM11 cause i played them in 10.
Zim, it doesnt work on Vista. Same problem as what Bluerinse has by the looks of things.
May be that the security settings in Vista\Media player are stopping the codec from being downloaded (maybe!). I have Media Player configured to download codecs automatically though.
