But my understanding that its ALOT more advanced and focuses on Cisco aspects of security more than the foundations and fundamentals... anyone got more info than me?

I doubt many people have done it so i have looked into it myself.. and from Cisco's site i understand that this course is WAY too advanced:

Quote:
* Security policy design and management
* Security technologies, products and solutions
* Firewall and secure router design, installation, configuration and maintenance
* AAA implementation using routers and firewalls
* VPN implementation using routers and firewalls
To show how advanced you are expected to be a CCNA before undertaking this course and in the end of it you can expect to pass:

Quote:
This course prepares students to take the SECUR (Securing Cisco IOS Networks) and CSPFA (Cisco Secure PIX Firewall Advanced) exams in preparation for the Cisco Firewall Specialist.
So like i said before i doubt this will help with Sec+ and frankly could turn out to be a waste of time and money...
