Angry wireless questions

wireless questions men , i know you fed up with me but
if you could have a mind just produces lots of questions
per second , what should you do?

first : i have a laptop and it includes wireless ethernet card
if i have just two , i mean there might not exist a wired lan
, could i connect to the internet?

second : related to the first question , or , do i have to
connect a lan backbone?

third question : let's think same thing in another way, if we
are an abandoned island , can we connect to the internet?

forth: imm , i wish communicating two laptops and they are
not far from away each other and both have wireless
ethernet card , is this possible?

fifth: wap(wireless access point) device has to be connected
to another device or will be independent?

Look up some of them in Google? Buy books on the subjects? Lots of other possibilities!

Two what? Two laptops or what? If one of them is connected to the Internet then the other can be. If neither are connected to the Internet then you need something else.

You don't *have* to - but it would be nice. There might be an Internet connected AP nearby which would also solve the problem.

If abandoned implies no Internet, then no.

Yes - use an "ad-hoc" network connection.

If it isn't connected to anything it won't be much use - but the WiFi connection will be made. Just not much of anything else, depending on the model and capabilities of the AP.

I recomend you buy this book to learn all about WiFi.

Harry.

That might be too advanced from the questions asked. The dummies guide will be the best starting point as it goes through the whole subject in a very nice and easy manner.

I started with that and then went onto the CWNA book. I have also installed over 50 WIFI networks for home and small business use.

I suggest kobem to start with the dummies book.
