Passed 297

Passed today with 862. Had four testlets or scenarios with 9, 9, 11, 11 questions. 9 questions = 29 minutes, 11 = 35 minutes (each). Used the Syngress book and Transcenders, which were good but far too easy. Like they (the transcenders) didn't have much reading stuff, perhaps a third of what the real thing had.

This was the most nerve-wracking MS exam I've taken so far. I had to read through and absorb all the info, make decisions as I read and remember them for the questions, and by the time I was on the last testlet I was totally freaking out and couldn't understand anything.
I mean, it wasn't actually very hard at all, the only problem was the amount of stuff to read and retain, and the time. And the constant scanning through the stuff looking for that bit of info I need. Blah.
Anyway that's done and over with. I is now MCSE.

Next up will be MCDST, as that should be relevant to my job.

What gives? I did this exam today for the first time and sheesh, i got nailed with 7 testlets or whatever they call them, most with 8-9 questions each and 1 with 5 questions. First time i ever had that exam format, and I got nailed by it. Ended up failing unfortunately for me... Just wasn't enough time at all. And you get confused with the 7 different companies, number of sites, client OSes etc... Hopefully on my second shot i'll get 4 case study scenarios!

Yup, the 70-297 was like that when I took it as well, difficult exam!
