My boss has just thanked me for working the weekend and given me the rest of the day off I'm off into town to buy some new threads for my new job I start a week today

I think they are extremely useful, and have 5 myself. I put keys, wallet, books, gloves, etc in them to save bulking out coat or trouser pockets.

Depends on what I am taking to work. If it is just some study notes and my lunch then I will go with a courier style bag, if laptops are involved then outcomes the backpack.
