I know about a thousand years ago, a bunch of us wrote FAQ pages for the various forums where we collected links to the books and sites that can be used for study. I notice the same questions keep getting asked over and over, through nobody's fault, but we need a better system for answering those questions. I'm pinning this thread as a quick and dirty way to answer those questions. I"m putting a link in to start the process. Anyone, feel free to add links and resources that you think will help folks study for and pass the A+ exam. Cheers.

A+ Certification All-In-One Exam Guide by Mike Meyers

PS: The book title is clickable and will take you to Amazon.co.uk so you can view the specs on the book.

    Another couple of resources.

You should register with either of these companys first. When booking the exam you then can find an accredited testing center near you.

Our collective work for a # of us, including Tripwire45 and myself is free @ http://www.certiguide.com

Not really setup for your free dining pleasure. You must read on the web. Any attempt to download and bypass google ads will cut you off, fast.

The intent is for the miser in the US to put up with the ads. For some rice farmer in Vietnam, its free. Not a perfect answer, and free does not mean easy.

Thanks to Charles of PCGuide fame for taking the time to convert all the work to get a few pennies a month from ad display. (I own ya one dude).

This is my issue as well, just starting to look into getting books etc, but don't want to stump up the cash if it's going to be wasted.
