    Hi everyone,

I am just about to book my first attempt at the icnd1 exam and i was wondering what sort of lab questions they are asking us to do?

I can't say as I haven't taken that exam, and I believe that Cisco's NDA is even more strongly worded than's MS's (but as I haven't sat any Cisco exams, I can't say). However I can point you to Cramsession's site, see here. If you click on "Specs" on the middle right of the page, it's brings up the exam spec's like: Prerequisites, Exam Format, Num Questions, etc...

    Hope that helps

They could ask anything within their exam objectives. You need to know how to navigate the IOS backwards and forwards.

Do you have to resit this exam every 3 years as it doesn't actually say on their website.

All cisco certifications (except CCIE and specializations) are valid for 3 years.

To recertify, pass either the ICND1 or ICND2 exam, or pass any 642 professional level or Cisco Specialist exam (excluding Sales Specialist exams), or pass a current CCIE written exam.

cheers for clearing that up for me. I was hoping it's good for life as I fancied doing a Cisco cert but don't use Cisco equipment to justify retaking it every three years.
