Where would I get an Evaluation Copy of SBS 2003?

Guy's,

Anyone got any ideas where I can get my hands on an evaluation copy of SBS 2003 in the UK?

The MS site seems to offer them, but only to US / Canada.

Anyone know of any other place I can get my hands on one? Books etc?

You get premium and standard SBS with Microsoft Action Pack, do you have a subscription at work?

Apart from the scalability there isn’t much difference between SBS and having Windows 2003 and Exchange installed on the same server. With the premium version you get ISA Firewall and SQL server included as well.

Me: You need to buy a couple of servers.
Customer: Whats wrong with the servers I have?
Me: Well, you dont have *any* servers just now.
Customer: WTF! I thought I did!

WIP: Hmmm...
Go for an action pack - it's awsome.
In the UK it will cost you about £200 + VAT per year.
If you've got a small network it's well worth having...

No Action Pack Subscription I'm affraid, just Technet which doesn't come with it. Or I don't think it does?

The reason I ask is because I'm looking at 70-282, but I really need a copy to play with.

EDIT: Ok so you can get a copy through Technet, see later posts.

Nice one, you wont believe how many wizards you can use in SBS, where is Zimbo anyways?

Only kidding!

Somehow I don't think that if I did 282 they'd be looking at my wizzard skills!

Good luck with it Simon, I think it is an excellent product and have been using it myself at home for over a year. It is ideal for small businesses that only have a small budget yet want Exchange and all the other bells and whistles SBS can provide. It is very popular here on the Gold Coast because this place has lots of small businesses but not many large ones.

Thanks Pete,

Like I said, I'm just thinking about doing 70-282. I like what skills it seems to be testing, and it seems like a nice all round exam, with a bit of everything thrown in.

I'll add it to my 'to do' list! Suppose we'll just wait and see!
