Smile Hello from New Jersey

Hi all... I've been in the field for about 10 or 11 years now.... mostly desktop hardware and software support and administration... now I have an opportunity to move into something a bit more exciting... I've been asked to start with an MCTS:Windows Vista Config to start out and may be asked to branch into some virtualization and possibly look to a VCP cert depending on how well it filters through... I may be using this site quite a bit to supplement my studies and training... look forward to chatting with you all.

Hi & welcome to CF

For virtualisation, will you be looking at MS (70-652)? Microsoft is doing an offer, see here

*Edit: Just realised calling someone a case is possibly a Liverpool thing aka Scouse. It means your a bit cheeky but in a very nice and often funny way

MCTS: Microsoft Windows Vista Client Configuration Study Guide: Exam 70-620 from Sybex!

Amazon.com link
Amazon.co.uk link

It gets 4.7 stars on Amazon US... sounds like most people think it's good!

It's got only 4 stars on Amazon UK... but some doofus who gave it 2-stars said that UCertify's practice exams were "more in-depth" so... consider the source!

Greetings and welcome, Kevin. You aren't the only "Yank" here. As you might have guessed, BosonMichael is from the states (Tennessee in his case) and I am as well (Boise, Idaho). Hope you find the place helpful.
