Question - Second Shot

I registered and got my 2nd shot code.

Im planning on booking the exam this week. My first shot at it.

When paying for the exam do i also need to enter the 2nd shot code or do i wait until im actually booking my 2nd attempt at the exam.

Hopefully i dont need the 2nd shot code!

Thanks

Yep, you will have to enter the voucher when you book your first exam. However I believe that if you use this, you won't be able to use any other voucher to pay for your exam, you'll have to pay by debit or credit card.

Good luck, can I assume that you're going for the 70-270?

Thanks. Its the 70-270 im going for.

The nearest test center to me only holds the exam on fridays. So i guess i'll see how i feel on thursday and then book it.

Wagnerk I also have a voucher for 15% off the cost of the exam. It came with the MS press book. Would i not be able to use this also?

I very much doubt it, on my last MS exam (not counting the beta: 71-680), Prometric wouldn't let me use two vouchers on the same exam (online or when I rang them). They may have changed it, but I wouldn't hold my breath...

No problem. Only works out at around a £12 discount

If the test centre only opens for examinations on Fridays, it may be booked up early, so perhaps check earlier than the day before to avoid dissapointment!

You may have to call them for this; not sure what options are availble on the site - so long since i have taken one!

Best of luck!

OK i booked it for this friday.

I entered my voucher code and pressed the validate button but then it just took me to the page where i enter my card details.

Did i do it correctly? My confirmation page doesn't say anything about "second shot"

If you are unsure, I would contact Prometric and find out. Better to be safe than sorry.
