Internet Connection Firewall

Is this a topic which should be revised by those studying for 70-270?

The MS Press book hardly mentions it. There are no chapters devoted to it but a full chapter on Windows Firewall.

I guess Windows have just changed the name from ICF in SP1 to Windows Firewall in SP2, right?

Windows firewall in SP2 is an updated version of ICF.

It has some important differences: Windows firewall is enabled by default for all connections - ICF was not configured by default. Also, windows firewall in SP2 performs packet filtering at startup for DNS and DHCP - ICF does not have this functionality.

Check out technet - there are loads of short articles about ICF.

1) The MS Press book states Windows Firewall
2) The objectives call it ICF
3) Various practice tests call it either ICF or Windows Firewall
4) There is a difference between the two so i dont just want to study up on Windows Firewall and the exam ask me questions on ICF or vice versa
5) Do you always act a muppet?
