I finally wrote the mpls exam, the last on the way to finishing the ccip. I did well, now for some relaxation!
The exam is challenging and as always good preparation is essential. Thankfully mpls is an interesting area of networking, which makes study and practice easier. As always, practice is key - 2611's are cheap and can run mpls/bgp/ospf, very handy. Router simulators might work as well, but I haven't tried any, so I can't be sure how useful they are for mpls.
Now I can put my feet up and think of something other than labels for a while

Oh as I was young and easy in the mercy of his means, Time held me green and dying
Though I sang in my chains like the sea.
