So...

...what's everyone up to this weekend?

I'm looking after the niece tonight..going on a 5k run tomorrow...then over there again tomorrow evening. I used to hate having to look after her, but now i've figured it's fun - great chance to mess around and be a big kid lol...

...then on Sunday I am going to lay in and read the paper, then read up on Exchange Server; housework...then CHILL for the afternoon!

Whatever you're doing - ave a good un! x

You need to step outside for the sun to shine down on you! (by me - lol)

I'll be packing for my holiday (going to Sicily on Sunday), watching the cricket and the cup final - so will probably spend all of Saturday indoors - but since the weather's apparently going to be ****e where I am I don't suppose that's a bad thing!

What sort of time are you running 5k in? I run two or three times a week, building my distance before I start working on times too much. I run about 9.5 minutes a mile. I am planning either a 4.5 or 5 mile run over the weekend, along with some study and my other pass time, watchin telly

My son David is getting married on Sunday and a whole bunch of relative are arriving in town today, so I'm going to be quite busy. Probably be sleeping on the sofa tonight. Tomorrow will be semi-controlled chaos and Sunday will be madness.

Around 20 minutes - thoough faster when it's a competition
9.5 minutes a mile is a good speed - I guess it depends on what you're running for, but that'll certainly keep you fit. Are you looking to build your distance for competition running like a half marathon or something, or just general fitness - or both?

Enjoy your telly watching!

Grr, failed to run today as we were so late babysitting last night (partly to do with the fact that we played a few matches on the Wii once "mummy and Daddy" got back ) that I was too knackered /didn't have time for run today and had all the boring washing and cleaning to get on with - ironing will have to be done tomorrow now (joy) Ah well! Will be up bright and early tomorrow instead of that lay in (that's if there are no more wii matches tonight )!!

I know. A few weeks back, my wife gave me her flu. I was miserable for a week, but she'd recovered in just a few days. Go figure.

20 minutes is a good time, its a great feeling when you’re flying along; the miles passing by. I run to keep fit and for the personal satisfaction of conquering the distance. I have never entered a competition, though maybe one day. I am aiming to add half a mile to my route every few weeks and see how I go. I would love to run a half marathon, that would be a great feeling Have you run that sort of distance before?

I did 4.5 miles today. Felt a bit heavy legged. I did the same route on Wednesday in the rain, got soaked but was flying along.
