Interesting - I've just checked the Exchange server in my lab and everything is as it should be. Routing through my FE server I can open 2007 file format attachments via OWA without problems. Since you seem to have all your attachment types properly registered, it might be time to open a call with PSS If you do, or you find a fix for it, let me know - I'm sure I'll end up coming across a similar problem as smaller private customers I support start rolling out O2K7 more widely.
Just for ****s & giggles, have you done any delving through newsgroups looking for posts on IE to see if its being mean about the attachment type? And, as a temporary workaround, can they download the zip file and then rename the extension to .docx, .xsls etc?

Yup I think you may be right.
Job for next week when I might have a bit more time. As for people changing the file extension, yea the kids would be OK doing that no problem, but the teachers hmmmmm nough said there  AJ Putting a computer in front of a child and expecting it to teach him is like putting a book under his pillow, only more expensive.
