Well I'm a Star Trek and Star Wars fan and like them both. That said, I don't know how you'd make a comparision. Neither franchise is as much about science fiction as they are about their own particular universe, brand of adventure and yes, marketing their wares. Asking if Star Fleet could defeat the Evil Empire (at what point in history for each?) is like asking if the Jedi could defeat the Borg. Neither are "designed" to battle the other.
The nice thing about the Jedi vs. Sith and Star Fleet vs. Borg is that they are built to fight each other. They're suited to be enemies. I'm not sure what Kirk would do if faced with Darth Vader (though, I'm sure he'd make a pass at Princess Leia) and what would Luke Skywalker do with the Borg Queen (we have an idea of how Data handled the situation)?
The reason that the questions seem so "alien" is that these two universes are galaxies (in some ways, literally) apart, if you'll excuse the mixed terminology. If you could have gotten George Lucas and Gene Roddenbery together for a brain storming session, maybe together, they could have written an interesting story to answer the question. As it is, we'll just have to dream.

True, but cop-out answer!
On our planet, we deal with familiar situations.
But, what if the USA went to war with Jersey?
You could argue that they aren't designed to fight each other either, but it is only the 'rules' of our planet and species that make this evident.
So in an infinate universe, all things are possible - indeed it could be said that all things must in fact occur!

Putting a computer in front of a child and expecting it to teach him is like putting a book under his pillow, only more expensive.

It's a good laugh, they are not making anymore for the web though as apparently some company is going to put on TV. I'm am not sure if it'll be as good once some corporation has rights to it.

I love the Chad Vader series, I have been keeping an eye out for new episodes ever since that started it a while ago. It's got some genuinely laugh out loud moments.
