lol...i still do not see what the big deal is...its the contributors that make this into a big deal is what the issue is..(noone in particular, just saying). A prime example is the fact that this thread is 2 pages old and the only person that has made a "useful" contribution has been freeloader.

Well I think from the first couple of posts you might have seen that we have been here before, at least twice from memory. the last time wasn't that long ago.

This kind of topic can get out of hand very quickly and you can count on the staff keeping a *very* close eye on it if this thread carries on.

Whilst this is the "Off-Topic" forum, it can be threads like this that start to detract from the true purpose of CF.

Ok....close it if you wish, i didnt want to start up some big country war! As others may appreciate, when you want to discuss, you do not search before you post a new topic, as it is you yourself that would like feedback.
Just for my tupence, threads get out of hand in my opinion in re to subjects like this because people start belittling other country's laws and the like, maybe the individuals being hostile and aggresive should be moderated in order for those that CAN debate to be able to carry on doing so. Dont mean to be rude to staff, just saying.

Just go ahead and close it AJ/whoever else has the autority.

PLEASE stop this thread. People have political opinions, I get that. People have security and self-protection opinions, I respect that too.

point 3... in re to "none of my business/immaterial", you could say that about ANYONE of these threads in the OT. I thought the purpose of a forum was to DISCUSS...i just do not understand what everyone is so afraid of? Im saying DISCUSS IT, not FLAME EVERY COUNTRY you can in the space of 6 pages or anything..

Why do threads like this attract in the same way that a flame attracts moths? I remind everyone that, you can simply *ignore* a thread if you find it not to your tastes. You don't have to try to *win* an argument in order to prove your point or express your opinion.

Fine. Wish granted. It's locked. No offense ITHurts, but threads like these never seem to end up being productive.
