Question Windows XP Pro login
I have noticed on my machine that when i put in a wrong password for logging in the computer shuts me out straight away.......so i checked the Local Security Policy and it is set at 3 invalid logon attemps, no big deal but is annoying!!! maybe i shouldnt forget my password to start with

Anyway, can someone give me an idea of why this is happening?

Weird, have you changed any of the local group policy settings?

Me: You need to buy a couple of servers.
Customer: Whats wrong with the servers I have?
Me: Well, you dont have *any* servers just now.
Customer: WTF! I thought I did!

No, its a new install, so not been "tinkering" with any of them

Is the PC on a domain? Also does the account lockout and then you have to unlock it through computer management?

No the computer is not on a domain, yes i go through the built in administrator account and unlock it through computer management
