Question IOS..Gone?...

Hi all!

I was messing around trying to back-up my IOS on my cisco 3660, when I somehow erased the flash completely. Obviously all I have now is Rommon mode. Luckily I still have my 2610 up and running. I now know how to properly back up and update the IOS on routers, but is it possable to use the 2610 IOS for restoring the 3660 back to its former glory? Or do you need a specific 3660 IOS for that particular router?
Any help is much appreciated for me and my new expensive paper weight

you will definitly need the proper IOS for the device. When you are in RomMon you should be able to connect to a TFTP server and get the IOS back on to it

Or do you not have a copy of the IOS for it?

Nope. Wasn't expecting to wipe the flash, so I didnt think at the time to back up the IOS. Guess Ill have to try something else to restore the IOS. Lesson learned
