Tinus is one of the most humble guys I know... he's far from a perch-sitter.
Go ahead, and continue with that attitude towards people who attempt to help you... one by one, the guys who care enough to help will simply stop helping.
Cheers.

Thank you.

peoples advice is exactly what i was after, i just didnt appreciate being told i was being forced into taking these qualifications.

You mis interpreted my answer. What I maent to say is that if sombody makes you do these exams, they will have to pay for it. If they don't, they can't force you. "Nobody is forcing you to take these exams."

You should be ok with the first edition MS press book for the 70-290. I’ve been using the first editions for all the Microsoft exams I’ve taken so far as I cant really justify forking out the extra £££ for the second editions.

Better have the second edition. Remember WSUS.

Like I said, apologies for sounding harsh in previous posts, but i like to think im doing my certs for all the right reasons, im a passionate IT professional that wants to improve his career and improve the lifestyle of my new family, starting firstly with making it possible for my other half not to go back to work. Think thats why i got abit grumpy about tinus' earler response!
Water under the bridge and all that, going to be heading to birmingham to take my exam on 20th may with a mate of mine who is going to sit the SQL 2005 one at the same time, as for exam prep...it looks like the measureup stuff i have on my cd is reasonable, and the only huge difference ive spotted so far is that SUS has since been replaced by WSUS so im doing a bit of extra plaiying around with that, if anyone else knows of any dramatic changes that have come with SP1 or indeed SP2 that might come up in the 70-290 exam please let me know and ill do some extra squating! ;)
