Wink Help with offline files

Hi guys,

Im working through the MS press book and am a bit confused with the offline files feature, do you need to be connected to a server in order to configure offline files??
In the book there are two sections
1st configuring offline files on the server
2nd configuring offline files on the client

I have no trouble completing the excersises in the first part, then comes the 2nd....

It says to right click the shared folder that you want to make available offline then select the make available offline option.....there is no option, because of this I couldn't complete the excersise and am really confused about the whole topic

can someone please explain this to me, maybe im just being silly, its been a long day and im getting really tired

Thanks

Danny

On a shared folder right click and go to Sharing > Caching. The offline file settings are in there.

To configure on the client go to Control Panel > Folder Options > Offline Files tab.
