SUS or WSUS for Exam 290?

Hi all,

In chapter 9 (Maintaining the OS), the book says that we need to know SUS which is on the CD accompanying the book; whereas WSUS is shown in the chapter.

What should we learn for the exam? Also, there are 2 versions of WSUS on MS website. Which should we learn, WSUS 2 or 3?

Thanks

Glen

It's WSUS v3 that you need to study as I had about two questions on this on the exam which I sat not too long ago.

To be honest you can get more than enough info on the subject from microsoft's web site. Best wishes

The best advice is to make sure you are familiar with all versions. You could even get a question to do with upgrading SUS to WSUS etc..

Thanks for the advice!

How can the exam expect 3 different versions of SUS/WSUS (2, 3, 3SP1)? Will it not be confusing to memorize what feature 1 has & what the other does'nt? Moreover SUS is not available for download as it has been removed from the supported products.

Does anyone have an accurate reply?

Thanks again...

Glen
