Just Passed ITIL V3

Think I'll reward myself with a 4gb eee pc LOL

Interesting as it raised my awareness of the IT service lifecycle. I'm now aware and comfortable with the concepts but not sure of the usefulness yet, maybe later in my career but so far all I've really been able to apply it to is identifying our lack of process management and accountabilitys therein. LOL if that wasnt ITIL speak I dont know what is

Ah well another cert I guess. If I'm honest I really didnt think I'd pass this one but did. I had a problem with the language used I guess. Oh and all the acronyms. If your more involved in service desk stuff and not so much management then 2 thirds of the course wont make too much sense but it will give you an idea of whats going on in the project managers head and where you fit in.

I think ITIL is a good thing I just dont neccessarily get it all

Materials used Official introduction to the service lifecycle and the 3 day tutor led course

Congrats and well done.

It never hurts (well, not too much) to know how others think. Sometimes it enables you to beat them at their own game!
