AutoText - Word 2003 - Server 2003

Hello All,

I currently have an Autotext template that i would like to roll out within my office domain to all the users.

Is there anyway of me doing this without each user loosing there current autotext?

also i want to be able to set it up so that each user doesnt loose their autotext if they move machines, my thinking is that i would do this somewhere in Group Policy. Bearing in mind that at the moment we do not have roaming profiles. although users are able to walk up to machines within the office and log on as themselfs, just without there documents and settings.

Any help on this matter would be appriciated

Many thanks

Holly

Not sure about the first request but you can redirect application data to the server, the autotext data file may be located in that.

Note that this wont work if the user is not logged onto the network, so you might not want to apply the GPO to laptop users.

Me: You need to buy a couple of servers.
Customer: Whats wrong with the servers I have?
Me: Well, you dont have *any* servers just now.
Customer: WTF! I thought I did!
