I think I had to patch SBS to get Vista onto the domain but nothing major.
Once you get further into your studies you will see that a Windows domain can run in a certain functionality mode. Basically if you leave it as default all the OSs can talk to each other however you don’t have all the Server 2003 DC features. You can increase the functionality level but this means you can’t add a 2k DC to the domain, no problem adding a *member* server though.
No probs mate, it will all become crystal clear when you go for the 70-294
Me: You need to buy a couple of servers.
Customer: Whats wrong with the servers I have?
Me: Well, you dont have *any* servers just now.
Customer: WTF! I thought I did!
Vista & Win2k both on licenses from work, well OK from where i used to work.
Only have Vista as i wanted to get used to it before upgrading to it fully.
I get mine from the action pack at the moment but I'm looking to change to the technet direct plus subscription just to get away from those courses that you have to do.
