How do I set up school computer with home wireless network.

I have been asked to set up a school laptop which connects to fixed ip address and a set dns server on a home network. The home network is with AOL I can get it to connect to AOL wireless but cannot get IE7 to work. I dont want to remove the fixed settings as it will then not work at the school. Is there an easy way around this without having to mess around with settings each time?

Use the alternative network settings.

Go to TCP/IP for your connection in Network Connections, then properties, alternative.
