I'm planning to upgrade my MCSE:2003 to MCSE:Security and am curious about the design exam.
When I took the MCSE about 3 years ago, the old (Windows 2000) design exams were valid, so I have 70-220 (Security Design), as well as two other designs from my MCSE:2000 (I upgraded the slow way)
If I take 70-299 to get MCSA:Security, will 220 count instead of 298 or will I need to take 298 to get the full MCSE:2003. I know it is backwards compatible so my MCSE:2000 should upgrade automatically if I pass 299
Many thanks!
It looks as if it will be MCSE:Security(2000) and MCSA:Security(2003) then -- assuming I get through the exam

For the record, I have the same problem... I took 70-220 a billion years ago, so I've got MCSE:Security 2000 as well. The only thing keeping me from MCSE:Security 2003 is 70-298, which I'm considering doing.
