Exam Cheat Ad

My I ask why this site is running ads for speedycert.net?

These guys get certs for people who can't be bothered to study - cheats.

When one uses this service they are not only cheating themselves but everyone else too. They'll have letters after their names but won't be able to a get a decent job. Even if they manage to convince (hoodwink) someone to give them a job they'll be found out. How will this reflect on us hard-working individuals who have sacrificed our time and money to study?

I am studying hard for my certs and all this site does is devalue my certifications. I want my certs to mean something and the preparation to get it to be worthwhile and satisfying. I want to be able to do the job that I am asked (employed) to do.

I have no respect for these cheat sites, they are worse than braindumps!!!

I don't know if I ever want to return to certforums , even though I have enjoyed and participated in forums. I'm sure certforums can generate income by other means - eg running ads for respectable sites?

In CertForums' defense, those ads are sent to CertForums by Google. CertForums can block them, but only after they've seen them and researched them and request that Google block each one individually in the future. If I remember correctly, one major problem is that they can only block something like 200ish sites! It's quite unfortunate, and I wish that Google would employ a better method to block undesirable sites.

If you choose to leave CertForums, that's certainly your prerogative to do so. But I haven't met too many groups who are MORE committed to combatting braindumping than these folks are. You would be doing yourself a disservice by distancing yourself from them.

I can flag the powers that be which in this case is probably AJ and see what he can do. If there's anything at CertForums you think is dodgy, unethical, or otherwise undesirable, just bring it to the attention of the staff.

You probably aren't aware of this but premium members and staff don't ever see the ads so we aren't (or at least I'm not) aware of the content.

Slightly OTT!

Why don't you participate further by having a gander through this great forum; you'll find posts/threads that will demonstrate just what CF and their members think of braindumps - you'll find that you are amongst people who have the same opinion as you on the subject.......ALL THE MORE REASON TO STAY!!!

I think someone needs to do a little more research before flying off the handle at CF and making themselves look a tad foolish in the process.

Just to confirm what has been said, BM is quite right in his reply. There are plenty of sites out there that do need to be taken off the Google ads but they are done one at a time. This will be added to our banned list as soon as the sites owner (SiFor) can do it.

I think if you look around the forums, you will see the approach that CF members take to braindumping and the like.

As usual if there are ads on the forums that should not be there, then the best thing to do is to make a note of who the ad is for and send a PM to any member of staff.

Thanks for the comments

Thanks guys for putting my mind at rest, it's just that it makes my mind boil when I see these types of ads. I've worked hard for everything I've ever achieved in life (however little that might be) and then to see it all being undermined by cheats...

Yeah I know exactly what you mean, I am the same way. The gents here despise braindumps as much as you and I and are working hard to prevent and of this stuff from polluting the forums.

I think we've established that we are all on the same wavelength as far as braindumps are concerned. Time to move on, folks.

I just read in the mods forum that Si added a filter to take care of that particular ad. As was previously mentioned, these have to be addressed on a case by case basis so if anyone else sees a dodgy ad we want to get rid of, please notify staff. Thanks.
