Ok Peeps!

Been thinking of this for a while now. I like the look and feel of LM but need to know if it is as good as everyone keeps telling me?

Can you give me a completely honest opinion. If it's crap, then please say so. If it's good then also say so!

Please be as honest as possible.

I haven't used Mandrake in awhile so I'm not sure how to answer that question. It's very popular but of course, it really depends on what you want out of a Linux distro. All distros run on the same basic kernel. What makes each one different including Mandrake, is the software packages, installer, and interface included. I don't think that Mandrake is hugely better than say Fedora Core or SUSE. You'd probably get the same functionality out of all of them.

Found something that might help answer your question. NewsForge has an article series called "My Workstation OS" which features a particular OS, written by someone who uses it regularly. Here's the one on Mandrakelinux:
