Thought I might share..:)

Detect vulnerabilities on your Internet-facing server with this free tool from Sec-1

Vulnerabilities within web applications pose a significant threat to your organisations network security. Whilst a consultant led annual or quarterly penetration test can help mitigate this threat, the sheer number of automated threats from worms, hackers and botnets means you are constantly at risk.
Get a free fully detailed report on One IP Address and One URL now
AppCheck Free Scan allows you to quickly and accurately scan your server for thousands of vulnerabilities that could be exploited by an attacker. If vulnerabilities exist on the IP address provided, AppCheck will find them and provide detailed information on each risk - including its severity, associated threat, and potential impact. It even provides links to give you more information about the vulnerability and how to correct it.

Please use the link above to or email to info@sec-1.com to initiate your Free Scan - there's absolutely no risk and no obligation.

Thats interesting Dazza. It sounds like more of a vulnerability assessment than a penetration test but free is free so happy days. Jim

Absolutely. I'm not gonna invite anyone (or anyone's software program) I don't trust to scan my network.

Might they find your photos I hear people talking about on here mate . . . .:p

**Edit: Actually on a serious note, some of these firms will do anything for money and if you don't take them up on further tests to harden your servers, who's to say THEY won't hack you and sit back waiting for your panicked phone call begging for their help. Sad but I bet it happens.

If they do, all they'll find is a few pics and an old Certification 101 presentation. That's all I got on my ISP's hosting... which is THEIR responsibility to secure, not mine.
